About Arkanem

Annie Nicholas is the artist who produces all the orignal paintings under the Arkanem name. Arkanem offer original paintings, images and digital reproductions onto quality stretcher framed fine texture canvas, flat canvas, high quality satin finished paper prints, art embossed high quality paper prints and satin finish posters.  

All prints are reproduced only by order, so some may become quite rare over time. Arkanem keep an accurate record of all print runs and can confirm the number of prints in circulation at any time.

All original paintings are shown at a “price on application” (POA). Simply contact us to express your interest to buy an original and Arkanem will put forward a price to you based on the interest shown and a value will be mutually agreed. You might be surprised as mostly Arkanem will always try and agree upon a price that you can afford.

Whatever you are seeking Arkanem will always try and find you a solution. You may have a "Specific Request" which can be cheaper than a "Commission" again, it is quick and simple to contact us direct and we will do our very best to fill your need. Arkanem do not source artwork from other artists.

The buying process is very simple: contact us direct and we will respond within 24hours. Together we will agree what your requirement is, the timeframe, and an all inclusive price. Then your picture will be sent directly to you.

Special arrangements can be made for commercial purchases. Special prices and discounts are always available for referrals, regular customers or sizeable orders. 

All Art, Pictures, Prints and Product Description & Information

All Art, Pictures, Prints and Reproductions are sold through clear imagery shown on The Works pages. The size specification is always shown as width x height followed by the description related to each individual product. Arkanem take the best of care and attention to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices are correct at the time of entry onto this website and are kept updated at all times. However occasionally this may not always be exactly the case due to timing, particularly if an original piece of art has just been sold or no longer available. In cases such as these Arkanem will always endeavour to offer a best solution to avoid disappointment.

Print Runs and Verification of Prints in Circulation

Arkanem only produce prints subject to order and request. All print runs are registered, tracked and logged very carefully in order to confirm how many prints are in circulation; this information can be made public if requested or necessary. 

An Arkanem print may be withdrawn at the sole discretion of Arkanem and it doesn't necessarily follow that once the original is sold that print runs may no longer continue. The only exception to this could be if a Specific Request is placed with Arkanem whereby a limited number of prints may have been agreed upon.

Specific Requests and Commissions

It all starts with your idea, simply contact Arkanem and we will gain a clear understanding of what you are seeking. Arkanem will quote an all inclusive price and time frame for your Specific Request to be delivered to you. The pricing of Specific Requests will take into consideration the copyright use and generally (depending upon the request) the cost of such a Specific Request will be significantly lower than the cost of a Commissioned work as the right to copyright and all rights to commercial use for Specific Requests remains solely with Arkanem. However, limited print runs or commercial use may form part of the agreed Specific Request which Arkanem may or may not agree to depending upon the request.

Arkanem are pleased to receive Commissioned work. Unlike Specific Requests the copyright for any Commissioned work will be solely owned by you, the purchasing customer, therefore Arkanem will have no rights whatsoever over the finished Commissioned work as all rights and commercial rights become the property of the purchaser/customer. 

As with Specific Requests the process is the same for Commissions. Payment terms for Commissions and Specific Requests can be negotiated, depending upon the request; however production will not commence until payment (or part payment) is secured and delivery will only be made on payment in full.

Cancellations cannot be made for Commissions or Specific Requests once the artwork is in production. Arkanem will ensure that you are fully aware of the exact production start date which would be your agreed payment (or part payment) date and which would also be the last opportunity for you to cancel your Commission or Specific Request.

The terms agreed for all Specific Requests and Commissioned art work will be confirmed in writing before acceptance is made by both Arkanem and you, the customer.

A visitor or customer that you may refer is extremely important to Arkanem, it helps build business and keeps the prices reasonable … everyone wins. So, for every visitor or customer referred to Arkanem, you will always be rewarded in some way.
